We offer advocacy services for law firms in relation to intellectual property matters - such as appearing in the UK Intellectual Property Office in final hearings, or appearing in Court on applications and at trial - and can do the same directly for businesses and individuals.

Aaron Wood is amongst the most experienced lawyers before the UKIPO, handling trade mark and design disputes not just for his own clients but also a significant number of hearings for other trade mark and patent specialists who choose him instead of a barrister for his experience.

Aaron Wood is a Trade Mark Litigator and Trade Mark Advocate, meaning that he can appear as advocate in intellectual property matters up to the Supreme Court. He has appeared successfully in a number of cases, including leading cases in the High Court and Court of Appeal.

As a Trade Mark Litigator, Aaron can conduct litigation even where he is not going to be the final advocate (where, for example, it is decided that a client is best served by using a barrister exclusively or alongside Aaron).
We offer this service to other law firms who do not have the expertise in litigation alongside clients of those firms we consult at.
We can use our experience before the UKIPO and the court to critically review cases and their evidence for you, and play "team red" to provide you with likely ways that the other side will respond
Whilst we have already mentored and supported some lawyers in their advocacy journey, we can offer external support by way of structured or unstructured coaching, teaching, feedback or guidance - this is particularly valuable where there are ambitious associates without senior lawyers in a firm who can give the support needed to help them develop their skills.
We can offer support on a white-label basis to help with your disputes - this may include reviewing evidence, reviewing drafts, discussing strategies or any other assistance you may require. This enables you to maintain a solid offering to your clients where there may be fluxes in expertise or capacity.
